RIPA International seeks to promote good governance by preparing civil servants to foster key performance capabilities in the effective implementation of policy-making that supports unchanging good governance principles - openness and transparency, accountability, integrity and clarity of purpose.

We are currently expanding our services to Turkey and the Western Balkans region and we are very interested in hearing from individual consultants with expertise in the technical areas listed below. Generic/Essential:

• Former Parliamentary Counsellor, senior barrister or legal professional
• Mid-level experts (at least 5 years of relevant professional experience)
• Senior experts (at least 10 years of relevant professional experience)
• Ideally at least three years experience delivering training programmes and designing course modules in a multi-cultural setting (please provide evidence and examples in your CV)

• Experience implementing projects in the areas of democracy, human rights and the rule of law 
• Familiarity developing and improving human resource management in court systems
• Expertise in judicial case management
• Knowledge of processes for measuring court performance
• Practice in the role of e-systems in the justice system
• Experience in new approaches to dealing with those involved in court proceedings, especially vulnerable witnesses and defendants
• Experience improving paper-based and electronic court records management
• Familiarity with the latest changes to civil and criminal procedures in the UK and abroad

• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Turkish, Montenegrin, or Albanian would be considered an advantage.
