Modernising Tax Authority Programme, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Nigeria

RIPA International has been commissioned to provide an ongoing experiential study programme tailored to facilitate the implementation of version II of the Nigerian Federal Inland Revenue Service’s Modernisation Programme.

Separate cohorts of officers from across the Service are provided with a 2-week comprehensive orientation in the necessary practices and processes required to deliver reform, supporting the development of a demonstrable people-oriented and manifestly customer-centric public service capability across the Service.

In order to instil tangible transferable learning to deliver the required outcomes of the programme, RIPA International utilises the first-hand experience and expertise of serving members of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) senior management team. As the key UK central government host organisation for scheduled field visits, these interventions convey and impart experience and best practice in large-scale service transformation that is integral to the experiential learning of programme. In addition, high-level former civil servants who have acted as change agents in overseeing HMRC’s all-encompassing recent reforms provide incisive contributions through interactive group sessions.
