Project Indicators, Monitoring and Evaluation, Korea Institute of Public Finance, Korea

This tailored programme, run in London during October 2009, was designed to meet the requirements of participants from the Institute of Public Finance in Korea. Following preliminary discussions with the client, we identified specific areas for special consideration.

The roles of performance indicators and monitoring and evaluation techniques in the project cycle were central to the programme.
Participants were equipped with the knowledge and understanding to effectively incorporate these tools into their individual organisational context and working environment.

By the end of the programme, participants were able to:
  • Use new approaches and frameworks for project design
  • Recognise the overall project cycle
  • Use indicators and logframes effectively
  • Manage the monitoring and evaluation of projects to determine progress and impact

The programme enabled participants to develop mechanisms for improving impacts, and identify measurable and quantifiable output results and outcomes against pre-determined objectives and targets.
