Citizen Engagement and Community Development

RIPA International’s new faculty aims to support transnational initiatives in providing concrete support, through lesson drawing and practitioner support, that focuses on inter-agency and cross-sectoral approaches (justice and social security for example) to citizen engagement and community development.

Through highly practical, network-focused courses, participants will be offered key insights into contemporary initiatives here in the UK, together with facilitative development planning for representatives of national agencies responsible for citizen engagement, local authorities, law enforcement bodies and organisations seeking to develop greater civic participation and community empowerment within their own region or municipality.
