Overview:

The importance of developing and building communication strategy in a world of 24/7 news that is driven by global networks and real-time digital technology cannot be understated. The same platforms that people use to connect socially with each other (Face book, Twitter and other burgeoning social media) are available for both the government and corporate communicator to utilise and necessarily ‘spread the word,’ effectively and on occasion, in an instant.

The aim of this course is to enhance the skills of senior communicators to enable them to better and more effectively plan and deliver high-level communication pitched directly at the audiences they are required to reach.

As a senior public official or corporate communicator, you will already be confident in your use of communication skills and will either be leading a communication team in government, the public service or a commercial organisation.

You will be seeking to take your strategic approach to communication to a higher level or enhance your existing strategic responsibility for disseminating your organisation’s key messages.
