This comprehensive programme will improve your knowledge of procurement, tendering processes, regulatory frameworks, risks on all aspects of the procurement cycle, procurement strategies and contract supervision. This will lead to practical skills development in the audit process from planning to execution and reporting and monitoring recommendations. This programme covers the three core areas in any procurement position:

  • Procurement strategies
  • Procurement processes including specification, tendering, evaluation and awarding of contracts
  • Framework Agreements Compliance and auditing
  • Quality Control
  • Post procurement reviews

By combining ‘Effective Tendering, Award of Contract and Managing your Provider’, ‘A Modern Approach to Procurement: A Strategic Perspective’ and ‘Procurement Audit’ you will gain knowledge in all the key areas required for any person working within the procurement area.

This course will cover the detailed steps of the full procurement cycle and will cover key principles from the start of the process, through effective tendering documentation, the evaluation process, the legal aspects of award of tender and the management of providers. It will transform the role of your procurement directorate and gain maximum value for money and commercial advantage for your organisation whilst remembering that a well trained procurement audit and supervision function is necessary to understand the regulatory framework and to implement the procurement audit.

We will look at the linkages between procurement strategies and the delivery of corporate objectives.
