Overview:

Change is endemic in all sectors. The pressures for change come from all sides; globalisation, government initiatives, ‘doing more with less’, re-engineering businesses and improving the quality of public services and the ability of staff to deliver better overall performance in every sector; the pace of change is ever increasing. Living with change and managing change is therefore an essential skill for all.

Change is also difficult. Different change processes require different approaches to managing the change. It is a topic that has had its fair share of management fads, quick fixes and guaranteed approaches. Finding an approach to managing change that will work for you and your organisation goes to the heart of being an effective and professional leader or manager.

This programme assists participants in developing practical strategies for establishing, promoting and sustaining change in their organisation. It is intended to encourage a more pragmatic style of leadership and managementpractice that works with and through staff to ensure successful and sustainable change.
