Overview:

Performance management is a strategic and integrated approach to bring success to an organisation by improving the performance of people and by developing capabilities of teams and individuals. Performance management aims to translate organisational goals into goals at all levels – department, division, team and individual. The idea is to communicate goals and objectives in a meaningful and integrated way, and so to create a shared understanding of what is required to improve performance – and how to achieve it.

RIPA International’s programme is designed to provide an overview of the essentials of managing performance; what we can do to encourage our people to improve both their capabilities and their performance to support sustained organisational success. The programme offers techniques to tackle the common barriers to performance improvement; to build effective teams to target your organisation’s stakeholder needs and to meet key objectives. The programme presents contemporary approaches which will assist in supporting the role of line managers in seeking to enhance and sustain team performance.
