Overview:
Today’s energy utility providers need to operate within a sustainable development framework. This workshop focuses on ways in which energy producers can improve their environmental management credentials and meet internationally recognised standards, while delivering economic growth and improving business efficiency. It provides practical, pertinent and realistic approaches to economic and policy development in the supply of energy and looks at best practice in sustainability management and ‘clean energy’ provision (including renewable energy).

You will be able to:
- Understand the relationship between energy systems and sustainable development, and overcome the sustainability challenges of daily operations
- Know how to achieve energy supply and sustainability while also pursuing investment growth and profitability
- Promote energy efficiency and renewables, and encourage the use of clean technologies – including in OECD economy countries
