Overview:

Ongoing internationally-sanctioned reforms of procurement processes, especially in relation to public sector procurement, places demands on staff to take an ever-increasing professional approach to the subject. As stringency in effective public financial management is reflected in tighter laws, regulations, rules and procedures, the procurement audit of goods and services is now a major requirement of effective governance across multiple levels of government.

RIPA International’s five day procurement audit workshop has been designed to develop your knowledge of critical institutional aspects of procurement audit which is intended to proactively ensure transparency, accountability and fairness pertains to an organisation’s procurement processes. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance audit skills by tackling head-on, the issues faced when conducting a procurement audit.

Attendance on this workshop will improve your knowledge of procurement, regulatory frameworks, risks on all aspects of the procurement cycle and contract supervision.
