Facilities management is the practice of coordinating the physical work environment with the people and work of an organisation. As a discipline, it is a vital driver for organisational development and efficiency. It relies on effective communication, an understanding of external constraints and internal goals as well as core infrastructure requirements. RIPA International’s programme aims to provide participants with core skills, techniques and best practice focusing on current initiatives in the UK.

Additionally, the programme offers participants the opportunity to obtain a recognised qualification, the new IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) International Managing Safely award, which creates a focus on management systems and best practice in the context of international standards in health and safety. By applying proven and recognised processes, it underpins consistent health and safety performance and is a superbly versatile qualification, suitable for facilities managers, occupational health staff and any others for whom health and safety is a key responsibility.
