PRINCE2®

Duration: 2 weeks

Course ref: 12PRINCE21

Overview:

PRINCE2® has emerged as one of the most internationally-accepted methods for managing projects. Truly generic, this non-proprietary method can be applied to any project regardless of project scale, type, organisation, geography or culture. PRINCE2® achieves this by isolating the management aspects of project work from the specialist contributions – such as design or construction – and providing a secure overall framework for project work.

This rewarding yet intensive training programme, based on the PRINCE2® (2009) manual “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2™”, provides participants with detailed knowledge of PRINCE2® as well as an opportunity to sit Foundation and Practitioner examinations, administered on behalf of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) by the APM Group Ltd (APMG).

RIPA International recommends that prospective participants have gained some experience of project involvement – either as a project team member or as manager of a project – as part of their current/previous job roles.

For the individual, the rewards of attending this training programme include an internationally-recognised qualification in project management; for the organisation, staff who are well-equipped to deal with the intricacies of modern-day projects.
