Overview:

Getting the right information to the right person at the right time should be easy in today’s world of data-handling protocols, knowledge management strategies, collaborative working arrangements, electronic document and records management systems.
 
This programme presents participants from government, commercial organisations and not-for-profit agencies with modern approaches to managing mixed media information resources. It provides practical tools and methods to implement sustainable records and information management systems in their own organisation and allows them to benchmark their own systems against international standards and global best practice.
On completion, participants will receive one year’s membership to The Association of Commonwealth Archivists and Records Managers (ACARM) - which aims to promote professional development in the field of records and archive management throughout the Commonwealth.

  • Understand the features, functions and challenges of electronic records management systems and electronic document management systems
  • Develop tools and processes to determine business requirements and select a system to support those requirements
